Welcome to all our new clients. Thank you for making Pilates4.Me your fitness studio. Together we will endeavour to give your incredible human machine a complete overhaul. We will work hard to help you achieve your goals, desired fitness levels and weight loss.
As you would have noticed we are in the process of adding another studio on to our existing one. Hallelujah! Studio B (the new one) will mainly be used for group classes and Studio A (the existing one) for one on one and dual classes. The renovation process is in full swing. We are increasing the parking space which will make arriving and leaving much easier. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this process.
We are proud of all our clients who faithfully attend classes and are working hard to get or maintain their incredible human machine in good working order. I want to share Vilona’s weight loss story with you.
When Vilona knocked on our door end of April, her human machine was in serious need of repair. She was a stone throw away from becoming an invalid. Weighing in at 116.7 kg, at a height of 176cm, she was way over her ideal body weight. The excess fat around her belly and waist was of great risk to her health. Her muscle mass wasted away and she had no control or strength in her legs or shoulders. Walking was a huge effort. She was unable to get out of her bath, couldn’t manage a staircase, had no confidence to do her grocery shopping and driving her car was becoming near impossible. At this point she realized she needed help. We sat down and decided to tackle this mountain one Pilates session at a time. Going onto the latest weight loss diet at the time was not an option due to limited finances. She decided to drink 8 glasses of water per day, abstain from alcohol and use very little starch in her diet. We supplemented one meal a day with a Yukon Slimming Shake, Jungle Oats for breakfast and homemade vegetable & lentil soup at night. In between meals she would have one fruit as a snack.
Vilona lost 13.1 kg over three and a half months, increased her Skeletal muscle mass and brought down her body fat substantially. Her confidence and mobility improved immensely. Well done Vilona! You are a real inspiration to all around you for sticking to your new healthy lifestyle and your hard working Pilates sessions every time you clock in.
Moral of the story….. invest in a new healthy life style rather than the latest flimflam weight loss diet doing the circuit.
